Centreco is looking for an experienced and commercially focused Operations Manager to lead and develop our solar PV installation operations across the UK.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably and to the highest quality standards. You'll lead operational teams, develop robust governance and processes, and drive continuous improvement across the business as we continue our ambitious growth journey.

• Lead Centreco's operational delivery function across multiple concurrent projects throughout the UK.
• Manage and develop multi-disciplinary teams including Project Administration, Site Supervisors and Installation Teams.
• Drive a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, continuous improvement and commercial awareness.
• Ensure operational resources are effectively allocated across all live projects.
• Maintain visibility and control of project delivery through structured reporting and governance.
• Provide operational support and escalation management for technical, contractual and client challenges.

• Develop, implement and continually improve Centreco's operational management systems.
• Establish and maintain company processes, procedures and operational standards.
• Oversee key project administration activities including DNO applications, planning processes, structural surveys, building control and project mobilisation.
• Drive installation efficiency, labour utilisation and programme delivery performance.
• Develop operational manuals, quality assurance processes and lessons learned programmes.
• Create scalable systems and processes to support continued business growth.

• Lead the implementation of Health & Safety across all projects.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, Health & Safety at Work legislation, Work at Height Regulations and Electricity at Work Regulations.
• Work closely with the wider Health & Safety team to maintain best practice and compliance standards.
• Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented across future projects.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all operational activities.

• Monitor and manage operational KPIs across project delivery, quality, health & safety and customer satisfaction.
• Identify trends affecting operational performance and profitability.
• Develop and implement new processes, systems and automation initiatives.
• Drive standardisation and operational consistency across the business.
• Ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future project delivery.

• Lead, mentor and develop operational teams through coaching, performance reviews and development planning.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and succession planning activities.
• Produce operational reporting and business insights for the Senior Leadership Team.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, principal contractors and key stakeholders.
• Represent the operational function within strategic planning discussions.

• Extensive experience leading large-scale commercial construction, renewable energy or engineering operations.
