4 on / 4 off (2 x 12hr days/2 x 12hr nights)

Our client, who are the world's leading recycler of aluminium, are currently recruiting for several FLT/Process Operators to join their team. Working within small teams and reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will be working out of both site-based foundries, operating plant and equipment to the highest level of Health & Safety.

• Operating plant and equipment to recycle scrap aluminium into block ingots.
• Feeding the shredder and ensuring area is always kept tidy and hazard free.
• Move scrap to furnaces and metal sampling control sections.
• Unloading scrap and loading of finished product ready for transportation.

• Experience working within a processing/manufacturing/engineering or production facility.
• Previous experience working within a processing role would advantageous.
• Must hold/previously held certificates for any FLT Counterbalance/MHE.
• Excellent work ethic.
• Work well as part of a team as well as individually.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be able to work within close proximity of molten metals at high temperature. Although a high proportion of the day will be spent driving forklifts and other heavy mobile equipment (full training given), there will be some manual tasks which may require some heavy lifting.
