Are you an experienced CNC FICEP Operator with a background in structural steel, looking to join a well-established company offering long-term security within a modern fabrication environment?

Delivering everything from bespoke metalwork packages to large-scale structural steel projects of up to 1,000 tonnes, the company has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and investment in its people and facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting, programming, and operating Ficep CNC machinery within a busy structural steel fabrication workshop. You will work from engineering drawings to ensure steel sections are processed accurately and efficiently, playing a key role in supporting the delivery of major commercial projects.

This role would suit an experienced CNC Ficep Operator from a structural steel background, seeking a stable, long-term position within a financially secure and growing business.

The Role:

Setting, programming, and operating Ficep CNC machinery
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Selecting and loading raw materials into machines, ensuring correct alignment and secure positioning
Monitoring machine performance throughout the production process
Carrying out routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components
Troubleshooting and resolving minor machine issues to minimise downtime

The Person :

Previous experience setting and programming Ficep CNC machines
Structural steel fabrication experience
