Location:

Warrington (Onsite)

Position Type:
Full-Time, 12-Month Contract

Hours:

37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:15 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:15 AM - 11:45 AM

Pay Rate: £14 per hour (Equivalent to £27,325/year) | Overtime available

Job Overview

We are seeking two dependable Manufacturing Operators to join our team in a clean production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing closed products, ensuring high-quality packaging, maintaining laboratory standards, and handling equipment calibration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production & Packaging:
    Manufacture closed products in a clean environment while wearing required PPE. Assemble packaging components (boxes, inserts, labels) securely to prevent transit damage.
  • Labelling & Inventory:
    Print, verify, and apply accurate product labels, including any necessary regulatory or safety information.
  • Quality Control:
    Inspect packaging and products to identify defects or inconsistencies, taking corrective actions as needed to meet established standards.
  • Equipment & Housekeeping:
    Clean, sanitize, and calibrate basic laboratory instruments. Monitor calibration schedules and maintain overall cleanliness and consumable supplies in the work area.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    Follow safe hazardous waste handling protocols and comply with all company safety programs.
  • Teamwork:
    Assist in training other team members once you are fully proficient in specific operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant life sciences field OR equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience:

    Experience in a manufacturing or clean production environment is preferred, but not essential.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office applications).
    • Good manual dexterity and the ability to meet production targets.
    • Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required paperwork.
    • Excellent teamwork skills and a flexible approach to changing duties at short notice.
