Learning Disability Nurse

Job Overview

Join the multidisciplinary team at Arbury Court, Warrington, as a Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD). You will provide care to adult women in medium and low secure, and psychiatric intensive care (PICU) environments who have personality disorder and mental health conditions, supporting their recovery journey.

• Deliver high‑quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members.
• Observe, record, and report all changes in service user condition and maintain accurate care documentation.
• Promote positive teamwork and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to meet patient needs.
• Safeguard patients and maintain adherence to NMC guidance and statutory duties.
• Support the rehabilitation and recovery‑based treatment approach for women aged 18 and over.
• Participate in safe‑recruitment processes, ensuring staff are DBS cleared.

• Relevant nursing qualification.
• NMC registration.

• Capability to work in medium and low secure, and PICU settings for women aged 18 years and over with personality disorder and mental illness.
• DBS clearance required.

• Annual base salary: £36,382 (Staff Nurse
  2), £40,751 (Staff Nurse
  3), £43,292 (Staff Nurse
  4).
