What you will be doingAs a qualified Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), you will deliver high‑quality care to adult women in medium and low secure as well as psychiatric intensive care (PICU) environments who have Personality Disorder and mental health conditions, while supporting colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities- Providing high‑quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users.
- Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
- Providing mentorship and support to team members.
- Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided.
- Relevant nursing qualification.
- NMC registration.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- High level of self‑motivation and flexible approach.
- Positive attitude, naturally caring and compassionate.
- Commitment to high‑quality care and evidence‑based practice.
Location: Arbury Court, Townfield Lane, Winwick, Warrington, Cheshire, WA2 8TR
Arbury Court provides medium and low secure care and Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU) for women aged 18 years and over with Personality Disorder (PD) and mental illness. Each service within the site has a unique focus, ensuring that the needs of all women can be met. Patients can move through services as their needs change, focusing on the next step in their recovery journey.
The service offers a personalised assessment and recovery‑based treatment pathway for women with complex needs, using a rehabilitation and recovery treatment approach to keep care focused on the person.
What You’ll Get- Annual base salary:
- Staff Nurse 2: £36,382
- Staff Nurse 3: £40,751
- Staff Nurse 4: £43,292
