Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking a Night Animal Nursing Assistant to join our Warrington team.

As a Night Animal Nursing Assistant you'll play a crucial role in supporting the emergency OOH service. You'll assist the veterinary team by providing essential hands-on care, feeding, walking and caring for the inpatients. Support the nursing team with tasks such as laboratory work, and prepping of theatre areas. You will also be required to carry out reception work, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the clinic.

This role is best suited to someone with previous animal care/veterinary experience, due to the unknown caseload and complexity of cases. This role also offers the right candidate a diverse range of responsibilities across all areas of our hospital, ensuring that no two shifts are the same. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of many pets during each shift.

Warrington is the newest addition to our growing group, a brand-new 24/7 veterinary hospital designed to deliver exceptional care across first opinion, referral, and out-of-hours services.

This state-of-the-art facility has been thoughtfully designed with both patients and teams in mind. The hospital features seven consultation rooms, a dedicated end-of-life room, three theatres, separate dog and cat wards, isolation facilities, a fully equipped dental suite, diagnostics suite, and a digital X-ray room.

Built to the high standards we're known for, the hospital will also include spacious, modern staff areas, ensuring a supportive, comfortable working environment for our teams as we continue to grow and invest in the future of veterinary care.

About you:
  • Compassionate and caring, with a passion for animal welfare
  • Attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to manage workload according to the needs of the service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience in a veterinary environment is advantageous but not necessary
