Property Account Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Account Manager to join a thriving estate agency based in Birmingham city centre.

Working within a friendly and collaborative team, this varied Property Account Manager role will see you taking responsibility for your own portfolio of residential properties, building strong relationships with landlords and residents and ensuring the smooth running of their investments and tenancies. Acting as a key point of contact, you will take the time to understand each client's individual requirements, providing a personalised and proactive service whilst ensuring properties are managed efficiently and to the highest standards.

As the Property Account Manager, you will oversee the full tenancy journey, from move-in through to check-out and deposit release, coordinating maintenance requirements, arranging property inspections and ensuring any issues are resolved promptly and professionally. You will work closely with the Lettings team to minimise vacant periods, monitor rental performance and identify opportunities to maximise rental income, whilst providing regular updates and recommendations to your clients.

With a focus on delivering outstanding customer service, you will confidently manage enquiries from landlords and residents, negotiate solutions to challenges and balance the needs of different parties to achieve positive outcomes. You will also take responsibility for monitoring rental payments and following up on arrears, coordinating end-of-tenancy works and preparing client reports, whilst developing your knowledge of property compliance and relevant legislation through ongoing training and support.

To succeed in this Property Account Manager role, you will be a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be confident managing multiple priorities, making decisions and resolving problems, whilst remaining calm and professional in a busy environment. Previous property management experience would be advantageous, while excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop your skills will be crucial.

A natural team player, you will enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues, supporting others when needed and contributing to a positive and successful working environment. In return, you will receive a salary of £25,000 – £29,000 depending on experience, alongside an excellent benefits package including 25 days' annual leave, a healthcare cash plan, life assurance, workplace pension and shorter working hours on Fridays.
