Are you an experienced Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef looking to leave traditional hospitality hours behind?
We're looking for a genuinely experienced pastry professional to join a growing food production business in Warrington.
This isn't a general chef role with some pastry involved - strong, hands-on pastry experience is essential.
It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves pastry but would like Monday to Friday working, no weekends and a much better work-life balance.
What you'll be doingWorking as part of an experienced production team, you'll help oversee the day-to-day pastry operation and produce high-quality products consistently across larger production volumes.
You'll be involved in:- High-volume pastry production
- Preparing and producing a wide range of pastry products
- Following recipes and production specifications accurately
- Maintaining excellent quality and consistency
- Supporting production planning
- Helping to supervise and develop other chefs
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Contributing to new product development and R&D
- Helping the business continue to improve and develop its pastry offering
We need someone with strong pastry experience
We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked as a:- Pastry Sous Chef
- Senior Pastry Chef / Chef de Partie
- Pastry Chef
- Production Pastry Chef
- Bakery Supervisor
- Strong hands-on pastry experience
- Experience producing pastry at high volume
- A good understanding of pastry techniques and production
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Experience working to recipes and production specifications
- Strong organisation and time management
- Experience supporting, coaching or supervising other chefs
- A genuine passion for pastry and high-quality products
- Experience with in 4 or 5-star hotels, banqueting, large restaurants, events, bakeries or food production would be particularly relevant.
Please note:
general Chef experience without significant pastry experience will not be suitable for this position.
- £33,000-£35,000 salary
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am-3:30pm
- No weekend work
- Overtime available if wanted
