Smyths Toys – Temporary Baby Room Assistant

We are recruiting fully flexible Temporary Baby Room Assistants to provide high-level customer service and support the Baby Room team to achieve daily targets. Training is provided; occasional till work may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Customer service – assisting customers face-to-face to choose the correct nursery product.
• Car seat demonstrations – correctly assisting customers with specific child needs.
• Advising on products across the Baby Room Department such as travel systems, pushchairs, cot beds and mattresses.
• Contributing to a friendly and helpful team atmosphere.

Desired experience:

• Nursery retail experience.
• Customer service experience.

Schedule:

Stores open 7 days a week; flexibility required, especially weekends.

Compensation:
Temporary contract. £12.90 per hour for over 21 and £11.00 per hour for under 21.
