We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives and expand our market presence. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the office furniture and interiors market
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion
  • Conduct research to understand market trends and new sectors Ideal Office can enter
  • Lead client consultations to understand objectives and recommend suitable furniture and interior solutions
  • Prepare and deliver engaging proposals, presentations, and quotations
  • Attend site visits, client meetings, and product viewings
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, smooth delivery, and successful installation
  • Act as a brand ambassador at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions
  • Maintain detailed records of activity and performance through CRM software
Requirements
  • Proven track record in B2B business development or strategic sales
  • Experience with in the office furniture or interiors sector is essential
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Confident presenting and consulting with senior decision makers
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once
  • Self-motivated and able to operate independently while contributing to team goals
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales software
  • A genuine interest in workplace interiors and design
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel for meetings and industry events
