Senior Inside Sales Executive
We are looking for a customer-focused Senior Inside Sales Executive to join our Fire Safety EMEA Sales Team, supporting customers across the UK and helping shape safer buildings and communities.
Responsibilities- Serve as primary point of contact for existing customers and new prospects, building trusted, long-term relationships.
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial engagement and opportunity qualification through proposal development, contract negotiation and project launch.
- Proactively identify customer needs, challenges and growth opportunities, positioning UL Solutions as a strategic partner.
- Educate customers on fire safety testing, certification and regulatory requirements, helping them navigate complex compliance and market access pathways.
- Deliver compelling customer presentations, proposals and value‑based sales conversations that articulate benefits of partnering with UL Solutions.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and technical teams to develop tailored solutions addressing customer objectives.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining a strong and healthy opportunity pipeline.
- Monitor industry developments, customer trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities and provide market insights.
- Partner with Account Executives and cross‑functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting and opportunity tracking within Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
- Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, with a strong ability to build and grow customer relationships.
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and engaging multiple stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Experience selling Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) services or other technical, compliance‑focused solutions is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the Built Environment sector is desirable.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into business opportunities.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is preferred.
- A proactive, customer‑centric approach, adaptability, curiosity and willingness to continuously learn in a technical and evolving industry.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, engineering and operational teams.
- Competitive salary with additional sales incentive (target payout of 55% of base salary).
