Sales Manager

A leading supplier of speciality chemicals and raw materials to the personal care, cosmetics and wider life science industry is currently looking to hire a sales manager to their team.
With dedicated sales / account management experience from a chemical supplier or manufacturer, with specific personal care industry experience, you will join the well established team as they continue their growth within the UK.

What you will do:

* Maintain existing business and develop new business with selected customers
 
* Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets
 
* Provide high-quality customer service
 
* Stay up to date with market developments and emerging trends, using this knowledge to identify opportunities and support business growth
 
* Maintain a strong awareness of competitor activity and market share movements
 
* Attend and actively participate in training, exhibitions and industry events to strengthen industry knowledge, relationships and business opportunities
 
* Work with the local and group marketing teams to promote products
 
* Support the Senior Commercial Manager to achieve the goals and budget

What you will need:

* BSc qualification ideally within life sciences
 
* SCS Diploma (preferable)
 
* Personal care / cosmetic Industry experience (essential)
 
* Sales / account management / commercial experience (essential)
 
* Strong IT skills (essential)
 
* Full UK driving license (essential)
 
* Strong team player, able to build relationships across all levels
 
* Proactive, target-driven and commercially aware
