A leading supplier of speciality chemicals and raw materials to the personal care, cosmetics and wider life science industry is currently looking to hire a sales manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

Maintain existing business and develop new business with selected customers
Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets
Provide high‑quality customer service
Stay up to date with market developments and emerging trends, using this knowledge to identify opportunities and support business growth
Maintain a strong awareness of competitor activity and market share movements
Attend and actively participate in training, exhibitions and industry events to strengthen industry knowledge, relationships and business opportunities
Work with the local and group marketing teams to promote products
Support the Senior Commercial Manager to achieve the goals and budget

Qualifications

BSc qualification ideally within life sciences
SCS Diploma (preferable)
Personal care / cosmetic industry experience (essential)
Sales / account management / commercial experience (essential)
Strong IT skills (essential)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Strong team player, able to build relationships across all levels
Proactive, target‑driven and commercially aware
