Job Title: Electrician (Permanent)

Hours: 40 hours per week + Out of hours callout rota

Salary: £37,665.54 per annum (Plus Van, Fuel card, Uniform & Tools provided)

Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich, the role will be out working across the stock of Weaver Vale Housing Trust’s core locations:
Warrington and Cheshire

The Opportunity

The Trust is looking for a fully qualified Electrician on a permanent basis to work across all the teams within Property Services. We are looking for an Electrician to carry out the full range of Responsive Day to Day, Electrical testing (EICR), Void Property, Planned/Cyclical Repairs and Maintenance Works to various types of properties managed by Weaver Vale Housing Trust.

What Will You Do?

As an experienced Electrician you will have a proven track record of working within tenanted or domestic properties and the ability to provide a valued and excellent service to our customers. You will need a good knowledge of the building industry, health and safety and excellent customer care skills.

The working week consists of 40 hours, and these hours will be worked between the hours of 08:30 am and 5pm. In addition, you will be required to participate in the Trust callout rota.

Minimum Requirements For This Role
  • Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship to City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification standard.
  • Experience of working in domestic or commercial environment completing electrical installation work.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition.
  • A desire to undertake further qualifications in areas such as health and safety.
  • Full UK driving licence.

This role will require the successful candidate to undergo a DBS check. In line with the Trust’s Disclosure & Barring Policy, please confirm WITHIN YOUR APPLICATION if you have any current convictions under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants will be subject to a DBS check.
