We carry out hundreds of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and critical inspections daily, and we are a leading specialist for electric vehicle charging solutions, managing end‑to‑end installations and ongoing safety examinations.

To be considered for this role you will live within the Greater Manchester area and be willing to travel across the North West.

As a Housing Electrical Test Engineer for BES Electrical, you will carry out electrical testing in the social housing industry within the North West area. Your duties include domestic/communal testing and any remedial works identified.

• Work individually or as part of a team on high‑quality electrical repairs, testing and remedial works.
• Comply with BS 7671 standards and company work‑performance standards.
• Ensure implementation and compliance with company health and safety policies.
• Attend toolbox talks and in‑house training on a monthly basis.
• Use our CRM system and reporting software to record electrical documentation.
• Carry out electrical condition reporting, repairs and installations to the highest standards.
• Liaise with tenants, customers and supply‑chain members.
• Maintain van stocks and provide information to improve first‑time fixes.

• Starting salary of £32,240 plus bonus, excellent OTE – £55,000 to £60,000
