Multi-Skilled Tradesperson

Multi‑Skilled Tradesperson (Plumber / Carpenter bias) – Working independently as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Operative, you will use a company van to travel around the Warrington area to deliver general maintenance works across approximately 40 pubs and restaurants.

• Proven experience in a multi‑skilled trade role (plumbing and/or joinery) or one relevant main trade such as plumbing, joinery, or carpentry.
• Basic cold‑water plumbing, including fixing toilet flushes and leaking pipes.
• Woodwork and joinery.
• Painting and decorating.
• Floor and wall tiling.
• Pest proofing.
• Occasional larger works such as fence replacements, fitting of replacement kitchens and bathrooms.
• Managing ordering of parts, van stock, and own workload – logging all jobs on the IT system (training provided).
• Building relationships with Area and General Managers to ensure best service delivery.
• Working to tight timescales with flexible approach.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions.
• Experience delivering maintenance works to multi‑unit retail sites or successful self‑employment would be advantageous.

• No evening or weekend work or on‑call rota – flexible working hours to fit around personal commitments.
• Permanent contract.
• Working 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday – flexible with working hours (e.g. 7am to 2pm, 8am to 3pm, etc.).
• Annual bonus scheme with potential to earn up to 20% of your salary.
