Field Service Technician

Hydrosave is seeking a Field Technician to support our contract with a leading UK water company for leakage reporting and non-household consumption monitoring. This field-based role focuses on installing, maintaining, and managing flow data loggers on commercial water meters, ensuring accurate data capture to support analysis, reporting, and customer outcomes. Full training will be provided and we welcome applicants from outside the water industry.

Location: Farnham, Aldershot, Guildford Areas / Field Based

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and maintain flow data loggers on commercial water meters.
  • Collect, validate, and upload flow data using approved systems.
  • Identify abnormal consumption and potential leakage from flow profiles.
  • Complete accurate site records, asset updates, and job documentation.
  • Work safely and professionally across a variety of customer sites.
What We’re Looking For
  • Someone willing to work outdoors and to their own initiative.
  • An individual with excellent customer service skills.
  • Someone physically fit as the role will involve climbing into chambers.
  • Confident using handheld devices and laptops.
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence as the works vehicle will be provided.
Desirable
  • Experience with flow data logging equipment or commercial water meters.
  • Understanding of commercial water usage and consumption patterns.
  • Experience in water efficiency, leakage, or metering services.
  • EUSR Water Hygiene or similar industry certification.
  • NRSWA accreditation.
