We're recruiting Children's Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to children and young people across Warrington. In this rewarding role, you'll help young people overcome challenges, build independence, access their communities, and achieve goals that make a real difference to their lives.

The Role As a Children's Support Worker, you will provide tailored support through regular 4-6 hour shifts , helping children and young people engage with their local communities, develop life skills, and work towards personal goals.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs and aspirations Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal development Promoting wellbeing, social inclusion, and positive outcomes Supporting access to community activities, appointments, and local services Building positive and professional relationships with children, young people, and their families Following support plans and agreed goals Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns appropriately Ensuring safeguarding procedures and care standards are maintained at all times What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll have: A minimum of 6 months' experience in care, support work or a similar setting Experience supporting children and young people A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A caring, patient, and empathetic approach The ability to work independently and as part of a team A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one The right to work in the UK Why Join Us?
