** About the Role
** We are looking for a committed and professional
** HGV Class 2 Driver
** to join our regional logistics team. In this key role, you will ensure Heidelberg Materials UK products are delivered to customers safely, efficiently and on time. You will represent our business on the road and at customer sites, upholding the highest standards of service, safety and professionalism.

Our logistics function is central to delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will play an important part in maintaining operational performance while ensuring full compliance with statutory and company requirements.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Maintain the vehicle and all equipment to the highest standards, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with legislation and company procedures.
* Follow all company personnel, administrative and operational policies.
* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, Working Time Directive and Road Transport Law.
* Manage waste disposals, water discharges and dust emissions in line with environmental procedures.
* Carry out deliveries in a courteous, efficient and cost‑effective manner.
* Maintain consistent, punctual attendance aligned to operational needs.
* Perform additional duties as required by Management.
** What You Will Bring
*** Clean
** Cat C (HGV/LGV Class
2)
** licence* Strong understanding of Road Transport Law, Working Time Directive and relevant H&S and environmental legislation
* Clean overall driving record
* Valid
** EPIC card
*** Good numeracy and literacy
* Ability to recognise and report issues promptly
* Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work independently
* Physically fit with a positive, professional attitude
** Education & Qualifications
