HGV Class 1 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.  DAY & NIGHT ROLES AVAILABLE Shift patterns available:
Days - Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday Nights - Sunday - Thursday Start times:  (AM START TIME BRACKET)  (PM START TIME BRACKET) Pay Rate: • £17.36ph - Standard hours Monday - Friday up to 42 (Hours between 06:00-22:00) • £22.57ph - Days Overtime hours 42 • £23.83ph - Standard night hours Sun-Thurs up to 42 (Hours between 22:00 - 06:00) • £20.36ph - Saturday day hours • £22.91ph - Sunday day hours Benefits:

• Opportunity to progress into other departments of the business Day to Day Duties:
• Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Complete 2-4 store deliveries per shift
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
• Collections of recycling from depots may be required
• Carry out vehicle inspections and report any faults to management
• Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner
• Communicate any issues / delays effectively
• Abide by all working time rules and regulations
• Trunking work may also be required (mostly on PM shifts) Essential

Skills:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• At least one year experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver
• Hold a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• No more than six points for MINOR offences (No IN10, DR10, DD10)
• Good customer service and communication skills Desirable

Experience:

• Experience with store deliveries would be an advantage Training:
• Must pass a one-hour company assessment both written and physical
• If passed you will undergo a two-day paid company induction
• You will have shadow shifts for your first week Contact:
