Hgv Class 1 Driver

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established food distribution operation in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for ongoing work, guaranteed hours and a 4-day working week on a rolling 3-week rota.

The Role

* Class 1 store deliveries across the region

* Some Class 2 driving when required

* Deliveries to closed stores

* Unloading and moving wheeled cages

* Collecting empty cages, trays and equipment

* Manual handling involved — not trunking-only

What's on Offer?

 * £18.78 per hour basic

 * £28.17 per hour overtime after 48 hours

* 12 hours guaranteed pay per shift

* 48 guaranteed hours per week

* 4 shifts per week

* Paid breaks

* AM & PM starts available

* Rolling 3-week rota

* Weekly pay

* Ongoing work

* Immediate starts following registration/assessment

Requirements

* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous HGV driving experience

* Willing to drive Class 1 & Class 2 vehicles

* Comfortable with manual handling

* Reliable and flexible

* Maximum 6 points for minor offences

* No DD, DR, IN, CD or TT convictions

Store delivery/multidrop experience is advantageous
