RATES:£220 to £240 per shift

JOB ROLE:

HGV C+E Driver

SHIFTS:

4 on / 4 off

SHIFT TIMES:03:00 OR 15:00 starts

• Valid Category C+E (Class
  1) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience of 6 months
• No more than 6 points for insurance purposes
• A professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on trunking routes between depots and distribution centres.
• Primarily depot-to-depot driving with no multi-drop deliveries.
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely.
• Completing vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Ensuring all delivery and vehicle documentation is completed accurately.
• Complying with drivers' hours, working time regulations and road traffic legislation.
• Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and customer service.
