Location: Preston Brook, WA7
Pay Rate: £13.98 per hour with overtime being paid at £19.07 p/h
Hours: Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00, 30 mins unpaid break per shift
Temporary Ongoing (Permanent Opportunities Available)
All candidates must pass a drug and alcohol test

Our client is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy warehouse team. The role involves manually handling and sorting flat pack furniture and white goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position and develop new skills within the logistics sector.

Responsibilities

• Manually sorting flat pack furniture and white goods for dispatch to designated destinations.
• Conducting basic quality checks on products before dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience (desirable)
• Ability to carry out repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting duties
• Comfortable working with large and bulky items such as furniture and white goods
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
