We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, with experience in operating hydrovac trucks and other related machinery. This role is crucial for safely excavating and exposing underground utilities while ensuring the integrity of the surrounding environment.

Job Type: Full‑time

• Operate hydrovac trucks to excavate soil and expose underground utilities safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute excavation projects efficiently.
• Utilize heavy equipment such as backhoes, graders, and dump trucks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, operation, and maintenance of equipment.

• Proven experience in operating hydrovac trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues on‑site.
• Experience with water trucks, backhoe operation, grader operation, and dump truck operation is a plus.
• A valid commercial driving license is required for this position.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to comply with DOT and Texas regulations.
• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol screening.
• Background check with a clean record to meet customer safety requirements.
