AEG Vision seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to ensure exceptional patient service, welcoming patients, and handling check‑in and check‑out processes.

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Answer and respond to telephone inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Schedule appointments.
• Gather patient and insurance information.
• Verify and enter patient demographics into EMR ensuring all fields are complete.
• Verify vision and medical insurance information and enter into EMR.
• Maintain a clear understanding of insurance plans and communicate insurance information to patients.
• Pull schedules to verify insurance eligibility prior to patient appointments and ensure files are complete.
• Prepare insurance claims and run reports to ensure all charges are billed and filed.
• Print and prepare forms for patient visits.
• Collect and document all charges, co‑pays, and payments in EMR.
• Allocate balances to insurance as needed.
• Maintain a clean workspace and practice economy in the use of equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as needed and as assigned by the manager.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain patient and practice confidentiality.
• Bilingual preferred.
