• Preparing and portioning food items to help maintain the highest quality of life for residents
• Setting up meal trays and delivery of meals
• Assisting with putting stock away on delivery days
• Washing and storing pots, pans, dishes and utensils; sweeping and mopping floors; and other assigned cleaning tasks
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care to protect resident rights and privacy
• Ensuring the dietary work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Understanding of safe dietary procedures and the geriatric community
• Willingness to work in the best interest of residents and the facility
• Ability to work as part of a team and partner with other departments
• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
• Some dietary experience is preferred
