Materials Planner

Zimmer Biomet seeks a Materials Planner to manage material supply alignment with production forecasts and schedules in Warsaw, Indiana. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting manufacturing operations for a global medical technology company.

• Develop and maintain materials schedules, inventory positions, and product costs for stakeholders
• Schedule direct materials and components from suppliers to meet production requirements and safety stock levels
• Reconcile supply non-conformances and manage product returns and replanning
• Escalate supplier capacity and performance issues to sourcing and commodity management teams
• Maintain planning system integrity, establish standard costs, and support operational metrics reporting

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or related field preferred
• 3+ years supply chain, planning, or project management experience strongly preferred
• Supplier collaboration and purchasing experience required
• Knowledge of supply chain planning, purchasing, and accounting principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience with medical devices preferred
• ERP system experience preferred
