Job Summary: The Warehouse Operator performs a variety of responsibilities in the warehouse including pulling/checking customer orders, moving materials, loading/unloading shipments, and general material handling. Operates necessary equipment to store and move products throughout the warehouse.

Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Salary: $20 / hr
Primary Responsibilities- Loads and unloads trucks efficiently.
- Performs material movement tasks for order filling, receiving, and loading.
- Safely uses assigned power equipment (crown truck, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, forklift, etc.) to move material and meet order requirements.
- Follows customer requirements to select, fill and package orders.
- Attaches bundle tags to material being shipped and stages for shipment.
- Relies on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Notices and reports defects and/or excessive wear and tear of equipment; may perform set‑up and preventative maintenance.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Stooping, standing, and manual dexterity required.
- Light lifting (occasionally 25 lb or less).
- Heavy lifting (frequently 25 lb+).
- Requires wearing safety equipment: hard hat, safety shoes with metatarsal, safety glasses with side shields, gloves, arm guards.
- Frequent exposure to mechanical moving parts.
- Basic measurement competency.
- Basic math competency.
- Knowledge of commonly used warehouse concepts, practices and procedures.
- Strong work ethic.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One year of work experience.
- One year of equipment experience.
- PC literacy.
- Certification in assigned equipment (forklift, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, etc.).
