CNC MACHINIST / MACHINE OPERATOR

Location: Warsaw, IN

Pay: $ 28.00/hour

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Weekender | Friday-Sunday, 10:00PM–6:00AM OR 3:00PM - 11:00PM OR 2:00PM - 10:00PM

• $500 after 30 days

• $250 after 60 days

• $250 after 90 days

PDS Tech Commercial is looking for experienced CNC Machinists / Machine Operators to join a precision manufacturing team in Warsaw, IN.

This is an excellent opportunity for machinists who enjoy hands‑on work, precision machining, and being responsible for producing quality parts. If you have experience setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, or machining centers and are comfortable working with precision measuring equipment, we want to talk with you.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers

• Keep production moving while maintaining quality and quantity standards
• Inspect parts throughout the production process
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality
• Record production counts and maintain accurate production documentation
• Participate in process improvement activities
• Support other manufacturing operations as needed, including:
• Non-destructive testing
• Cell support
• Mass finishing
• Injection molding
• Polishing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work as part of a team in a cellular manufacturing environment

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of CNC machining experience on CNC lathes and/or mills

OR

• Four semesters of verified vocational or high school machine shop training plus 1 year of CNC experience
• Hands‑on CNC machine setup experience
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and machining specifications
• Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment, including:
• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Comparators
• Indicators
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production issues
• Ability to work effectively in a team/cellular manufacturing environment
• Ability to repeatedly lift approximately 60 pounds

Pay Details: $28.00 per hour
