Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to assigned shipping and receiving employees
- Communicate operational issues and environmental/health/safety requirements across shifts
- Monitor lean manufacturing flows and reallocate resources to achieve service targets
- Conduct periodic quality system and compliance checks on departmental operations
- Troubleshoot shipping and receiving discrepancies and train staff on equipment operation
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with JD Edwards and DCS computer systems
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and principles
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to model organizational values
- Safe operation of material handling equipment
- Ability to document information accurately per SOPs and work instructions
