GH Bi-weekly: 72
Shift: Nights 7pm to 7:30am;
Every other weekend;
No on call requirements
Qualifications/experience required prior to submitted candidate:
*** BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred
*** Medical, Surgical, and PEDS experience
*** 1 year at a minimum Med/Surg
*** EMR:
Cerner
Scope of role :
Medical patients with Heparin drips, managing diabetic patients, wounds, COPD and pneumonia patients and patients with fistulas needing dialysis(DIALYSIS not done on the unit by MS nurses) surgical patients: colectomies, orthopedic cases and podiatry cases as well AS GYN and general surgery patients. Pediatric patients
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Number of Beds in Unit: 26 Medical beds and 20 surgical beds, staff work between both units
Monthly Department Volume: 582 patient days per month
