Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full‑Time, All Shifts Available

Primary Responsibilities- Provide daily care for residents including bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, skin care, grooming, nail care and dressing.
- Assist with feeding, water, snacks and movement to and from dining areas in accordance with the nutritional plan of care.
- Check catheters frequently and provide catheter care as assigned.
- Support resident transfer, turning, positioning, exercise and ambulation per facility protocol.
- Answer call lights and respond to resident requests promptly.
- Maintain resident rooms, including bedding, linens, bedside table and personal belongings.
- Observe and report changes in appetite, skin condition or behavior that are abnormal.
- Offer emotional support and active listening to foster trust and independence.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident information and privacy rights.
- Document incidents, accidents, complaints or allegations using the designated reporting system.
- Record vital signs, intake/output, weight and meal consumption as directed.
- Follow safety requirements, infection‑control measures, use protective devices and assist with emergency protocols.
- Maintain a clean work environment per scheduled cleaning and equipment return procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the staff nurse or designee.
- High‑school diploma or GED (student permit exceptions).
- Certified by the State Department of Health as a CNA in good standing.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Knowledge of safe nursing practices in the state of employment.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to assist licensed nurses, follow written and verbal instructions, make independent decisions, communicate tactfully, work harmoniously with professional and non‑professional personnel, prioritize tasks, protect confidential information, uphold professional ethics, and relate resident condition information to appropriate staff.
