Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable (AR/AP) Clerk to support our accounting team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a fast-paced chauffeured transportation environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and send customer invoices for completed transportation services
- Post customer payments and maintain accurate records
- Process vendor and affiliate invoices for payment
- Assist with chauffeur expense reimbursements
- Respond to basic billing and payment inquiries
- Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
- Support month-end accounting tasks as needed
- Invoice Accuracy: 98%+ accuracy on customer invoices
- Billing Timeliness: Invoices issued within 1–2 business days of trip completion
- Payment Posting: Customer payments posted within 1 business day of receipt
- AR Aging: Reduce past-due balances through timely follow-up
- AP Timeliness: Vendor invoices processed and paid according to agreed terms
- Data Integrity: Minimal errors in reconciliations and accounting records
- Responsiveness: Billing and vendor inquiries resolved within 1–2 business days
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college or accounting coursework a plus)
- 0–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience
- Basic Excel and accounting software skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Experience in transportation, hospitality, or service-based industries
- Familiarity with Quick Books or similar accounting software
