Job Coach; Part-Time

Description

• Analyze job tasks and work environments to plan appropriate training, supervision and support services for students placed in assessment or work development activities
• Provide training and instruction that will enable students to learn job tasks and integrate naturally into the business work routine
• Observe and record student performance and work behaviors for required assessment reports
• Liaison with business personnel regarding support needs of students placed; student’s work performance; and building natural supports
• Maintain ongoing communication with school departments regarding student evaluation or training process and progress
• Maintain ongoing communication with program personnel and family regarding progress of student
• Attend IEP/IPE/CDP meetings as requested
• Work with other program staff in meeting the overall goals of the program
• Submit all required reports
• Other tasks as assigned

• Minimum high school diploma, Associates degree in human services preferred.
• Experience with adolescents; knowledge of developmental, mental health, physical, and learning disabilities.
• Must be available to work school and non-school hours
• Safe driving record, and have a chauffeurs' license or the ability to obtain one.
