Responsible for assisting with patient care in the Emergency Services department.
Responsibilities- Transport patients between different hospital units.
- Ensure that supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.
- Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature, or perform phlebotomy and electrocardiograms as needed.
- Ensure the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times.
- Adjust crutches for patients as necessary.
- Obtain food order from kitchen.
- Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to car.
- Deliver specimens as needed.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Vocational/technical training and more than six months job‑related experience or equivalent is required. Nursing Assistant Certificate is also required.
