We pride ourselves on being a dynamic team that delivers Level 1 and Level 2 rehabilitation to patients with acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditions. You will be an integral part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, supporting and facilitating the care needs for inpatients.
We will develop your skills in stroke medicine and rehabilitation.
This post is open to candidates who are looking to start their career in a nursing environment with no previous experience or alternatively the more experienced carer looking for a change to further their clinical knowledge and skills.
This role is an ideal opportunity to develop a career within a multidisciplinary team ina hospital environment and can be used as a stepping stone to gain experience priorto commencing or alongside training in Nursing, Midwifery or Paramedic Science.
Main duties of the jobThe Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Trust. Your role is to support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives. This job description is to be read in conjunction with the person specification for this particular job.

Clinical PracticeTo accurately and promptly carry out the instructions of the registered professional who is professionally accountable for the delivery of care.
To carry out duties as specified within the Trusts approved core task list for Clinical Support Workers/Health Care Assistants
To report to the registered professional any patient who gives cause for concern or any observed changes in the client or patients condition.
Provide and deliver a high standard of individualised care under the direction and supervision of the registered professional.
To report all care that has been given to patients within the team to a registered Professional
