Churches of Christ are currently looking for caring and reliable Senior Home Care Workers. You will provide compassionate, client-centred care to individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, medication and social support এস some office-based responsibilities.
While much of your work will
IPP take place in the community, during your standard 8:30am - 4:36pm roster, there will be times when you’ll contribute to planning and coordination from our office. As a senior team member, you will also be available for on-call support as the need arises, within a 6:30 am – 6:30 pm window, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care when they need it most.
- Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist with medications and personal cares
- Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
- Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
- Encourage independence and well‑being in a home environment.
- Participate in the review of client care plans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
- Train and mentor Home Care Workers, including completing annual performance appraisals

Our ideal candidate- Is reliable, adaptable and has well developed communication skills – occasional early starts are required so this role will not suit school hours workers
- Currently holds the below qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support or higher (Certificate IV or Diploma preferred)
- Medication qualified - or willing to obtain
- Currently holds a First Aid and CPR qualification
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct support required
- A current driver's license
- Experience with staff oversight and CHSP funding looked upon favourably
