Specific Duties and Expectations (Cook)
- Meal Preparation:
Prepare meals according to brand standards and guidelines. - Food Safety Certification:
Comply with required certifications (e.g., Food Handlers Safety Training). - Cleanliness:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with State Board of Health regulations. - Organization:
Complete food and station preparations before opening to serve guests promptly. - Safety:
Know location and operation of all safety equipment. - Food Handling:
Assist in storage and rotation of food items per hotel procedures. - Other duties as assigned.
- Happy Guests:
Management performance ratings, guest satisfaction scores. - Spotless Cleanliness: GM/AGM spot checks, leadership walk‑throughs, guest ratings.
- Product Consistency & Quality:
Checklist tracking, management performance ratings, guest ratings. - Teamwork:
Management performance ratings.
- Work Experience:
Previous culinary experience in hospitality or restaurant kitchen preferred. - Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks, meet deadlines.
- Friendly service with a smile to guests.
- Flexible schedule: days, nights, holidays, weekends.
- Timeliness: arrive and clock in on time; clock out at scheduled end; never work while clocked out.
- Break timing: clock in/out for breaks at designated times.
- Notice:
Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift.
