Duties and Expectations (General)
  • Guest Relations:
    Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
  • Name Use:
    Use guests’ names whenever possible.
  • Guest Satisfaction:
    Work with team to achieve high satisfaction scores.
  • Recovery:
    Handle challenging situations with hospitality and urgency.
  • Hotel Knowledge:
    Know all features of the hotel and amenities.
  • Events:
    Support all groups and events.
  • Technology:
    Understand relevant technology for each role.
  • Phone Etiquette:
    Answer calls with friendly service and approved greeting.
  • Spotless Cleanliness:
    Keep work spaces clean and organized.
  • Pitching In:
    Help clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed.
  • Hospitality While Cleaning:
    Greet guests while cleaning.
  • Product Consistency & Quality:
    Complete checklists accurately.
  • Shift Handover Reports:
    Provide accurate reports on time.

    Wear clean, approved uniform and nametag, smile at all times.

Role

Specific Duties and Expectations (Cook)
  • Meal Preparation:
    Prepare meals according to brand standards and guidelines.
  • Food Safety Certification:
    Comply with required certifications (e.g., Food Handlers Safety Training).
  • Cleanliness:
    Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with State Board of Health regulations.
  • Organization:
    Complete food and station preparations before opening to serve guests promptly.
  • Safety:
    Know location and operation of all safety equipment.
  • Food Handling:
    Assist in storage and rotation of food items per hotel procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Success Metrics
  • Happy Guests:
    Management performance ratings, guest satisfaction scores.
  • Spotless Cleanliness: GM/AGM spot checks, leadership walk‑throughs, guest ratings.
  • Product Consistency & Quality:
    Checklist tracking, management performance ratings, guest ratings.
  • Teamwork:
    Management performance ratings.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Work Experience:

    Previous culinary experience in hospitality or restaurant kitchen preferred.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks, meet deadlines.
  • Friendly service with a smile to guests.
  • Flexible schedule: days, nights, holidays, weekends.
  • Timeliness: arrive and clock in on time; clock out at scheduled end; never work while clocked out.
  • Break timing: clock in/out for breaks at designated times.
  • Notice:
    Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift.
