Overview

Join MCR Hotels as a Laundry Attendant at the Hilton Garden Inn Warwick, Warwick, RI. The role supports a clean, friendly, well‑organized hotel environment for guests.

Responsibilities
  • Linen Processing: collect, transport, sort, weigh, load, and unload washers, dryers and laundry chutes; fold, store, and deliver linens.
  • Linen Cleaning & Folding: wash, dry, remove, sort and fold all dirty linens and towels per management direction.
  • Equipment Operation: understand operation of washing machines and dryers; clean dryer filters and maintain all equipment.
  • Laundry Facility Cleanliness: sweep and mop laundry floors, keep laundry carts clean, stock linen closets, and maintain well‑organized back‑of‑house areas.
  • Chemical Management: replace and replenish cleaning chemicals as needed.
  • Guest Interaction: greet guests with a smile, use names when possible, and maintain hospitality while cleaning.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: keep all areas front and back of the house spotless, using checklists and being a team player.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in hospitality, service or consumer‑facing franchise preferred.
  • Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
  • Handle pace and pressure – work well in stressful, high‑pressure situations.
  • Good listening and conflict resolution skills.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Desire to serve all guests.
  • Age 18 or older to perform this job.
  • Willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Clock‑in/out on time and never work off the clock.
  • Clock in/out for breaks at designated times.
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift.
Physical Work Demands
  • Standing: remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
  • Walking: move about on foot to accomplish tasks.
  • Repetitive Motions: substantial movements of wrists, hands and fingers.
  • Lifting: carry linens and other items.
