Crib Attendant - 2nd shift

Join our team as a Crib Attendant. The Crib Attendant is responsible for assisting with MRO purchasing and maintaining the parts crib. They receive, store, and issue tools, etc., for the plant. They will unload and store material in proper locations and perform receiving transactions, issue material to plant-wide personnel, and accurately perform system transactions. The attendant must have advanced knowledge and familiarity with plant-wide production, purchasing, and maintenance activities to facilitate the appropriate stocking and issuing of MRO items.

They are also responsible for training entry-level Crib Attendants.

Responsibilities:

• MRO Purchasing - Assist with MRO purchasing functions.
• Maintain Crib - Issue material to plant-wide personnel, perform system transactions, dispense parts and supplies, deliver parts for repair, and follow up on status.
• Maintain part accuracy in L2L/JDE.
• Perform daily cycle counts using JDE.
• Review and receive purchase orders, follow up on status, and enter information into systems (L2L, JDE).
• Train entry-level Crib Attendants.
• Interact directly with suppliers.
• Communicate potential supply problems to management and purchasing.
• Go on parts runs as needed.
• Maintain Crib Organization and 6S standards.

Knowledge/Technical

Skills:

• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Decision-making ability regarding procurement of supplies.
• Experience handling MRO purchasing duties.
• Computer proficiency: PC/Windows, Excel, L2L, JDE.
• Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Standard safety training.
• Ability to communicate with vendors regarding part procurement.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA safety training required.
• Computer training in Windows OS and JD.

Hours: 2nd shift - 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Pay: $20 - $26 per hour
