This role provides high-acuity care for ER patients in a fast-paced, trauma-capable environment. The RN will assess patients, execute care plans, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, and ensure efficient patient throughput and compliance with hospital standards.

This is an onsite
, night-shift clinical role requiring strong ER expertise and the ability to work independently in urgent and emergent situations.

• Implement, evaluate, and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Perform timely and comprehensive patient assessments.
• Document patient condition, interventions, vitals, and responses accurately.

• Serve as primary coordinator among physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders precisely and promptly.

• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in accordance with hospital policies.

• Assess patient discharge needs and collaborate with care teams to develop safe transition plans.

• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and hospital regulatory standards.
• Maintain high-level professionalism and ethical conduct in all patient interactions.

• Minimum 5 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Experience in acute/critical care, trauma, or high-volume ER settings preferred

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License - Rhode Island (or compact license eligible)
• BLS - Required
• ACLS / PALS / TNCC preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
