FOCUSProvide patient‑centered care, perform treatments, conduct assessments, and coordinate care. This role supports learning, growth towards VTS certification, and leadership opportunities.
WHO WE NEED- Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) residing in the practice location.
- Passion, motivation, honesty, respect, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with peers, customers, and team members.
- Treat patients and customers with compassion and care.
- Perform basic to intermediate nursing care, monitoring, and treatments.
- Triage incoming patients and administer medications and IV therapy.
- Conduct diagnostic sampling and imaging.
- Manage urinary catheters, tubes, and oxygen administration.
- Perform advanced anesthesia support, vascular access, and diagnostic procedures.
- Assist in treatment planning and provide mentorship to staff.
- Continue training toward VTS certification, trainer roles, and leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the location of the VEG practice.
- VTS certification preferred for enhanced role and compensation.
- Basic computer skills for practice management and EMR tools.
- 1+ years of veterinary technician experience; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
- Fine motor skills and physical ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 25 kg independently and up to 40 kg with assistance.
- Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication.
