Inbound Sales Consultant - Base Pay + Uncapped Incentive (Hybrid - Warwick, RI)

Be a persuasive communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment. Join Farmers’ January 2026 class of Licensed Inbound Sales Consultants and help customers protect what matters most. You will respond to inbound calls, promote Farmers insurance products, consult with customers to understand their needs, and sell the products that best fit those needs. Outbound calls may also be made to optimize sales potential.

Compensation

Base Salary: $43,000 – $50,830 (guaranteed annual base pay based on experience).
Incentive: Uncapped performance‑based incentive that can increase earnings by an average of $27,300 plus up to an additional $75,000 for top performers.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales environment
  • Proven ability to meet quotas, metrics, and goals
  • Drive to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment

  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and prioritize tasks
  • Direct sales skills and aptitude to influence customers and close the sale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt communication style to each phone call and explain complex policy information in understandable terms
  • Eligibility to obtain a resident/non‑resident property and casualty license in required states
Responsibilities
  • Sell insurance products to inbound callers by gathering customer data to generate quotes and bind the business; make outbound calls as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships, educating customers on coverages and costs.
  • Qualify customers for cross‑sell and upselling opportunities.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while interacting seamlessly with the customer.
Location & Schedule

Office: 700 Quaker Lane Suite 300, Warwick, RI 02886. Hybrid work model: at least three days in office and up to two days virtual for employees living within 50 miles of a Farmers corporate office. Training may require in‑office attendance; thereafter, you will work three in‑office days and two virtual days, primarily Monday‑Wednesday, though shifts may vary.

Work Schedule:

Full‑time (40 hrs/week). Rotational shifts may include evenings, Saturdays, and holidays. Training

Hours:

9 am‑5:30 pm EST. Monday‑Friday: 8 am‑6 pm EST. Rotational Saturdays: 8 am‑5:30 pm EST.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required. The ability to obtain a Property & Casualty license is essential.
