Primary FunctionResponsible for installing, operating, and maintaining all heating, ventilation, and cooling systems in the hospital.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain proper temperatures and ventilation throughout the hospital. Maintain all control systems (electric and pneumatic) for AHU and chillers.
- Ensure all medical gases are maintained at proper pressures. Test heating and cooling water and add chemicals as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to keep all equipment operational. Repair any equipment that is malfunctioning.
- Install new equipment, including ductwork and piping for medical gases.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Vocational/technical training and a minimum of five years of job-related experience or equivalent are required. RI Refrigeration License is also required.
