The schedule for this position is Monday‑Friday, 9 am–5 pm.
This position is located in Warwick, RI.

Position:Foster Care Recruiter/Program Coordinator
This position is responsible for the recruitment, assessment, selection, pre‑service training, licensing, and re‑licensing of therapeutic foster homes. The candidate must be bilingual in both English and Spanish and be familiar with the foster care system. This person must understand procedures and programs and have a good knowledge of case management. The candidate will recruit foster families, keep homes up to code, help with relicensing, conduct home visits and documentation, and build rapport with children and families.
Responsibilities- Recruit foster families and ensure homes meet all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct home visits and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide pre‑service training to prospective foster parents.
- Coordinate licensing and re‑licensing processes for foster homes.
- Assist with case management activities and compliance.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology (required).
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families; preferably in a child‑placement setting.
- MAPS Trainer Certification preferred. Willing and able to acquire MAPP Trainer Certification immediately upon hire.
- Experience facilitating trainings and engaging in recruitment activities.
- Experience preparing home studies.
- Basic computer literacy with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 192 PTO hours/year and 64 sick hours/year.
