Role details

An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a fast growing manufacturing business in North Warwickshire. This role is suited to an experienced manufacturing finance professional who can deliver accurate financial reporting while supporting operational performance. You will lead the month-end process, produce management accounts, and oversee cost accounting, inventory reporting, and manufacturing performance analysis. Working closely with operational teams, you will identify cost-saving opportunities, drive process improvements, and provide financial insight to support decision-making.

The role also includes responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure analysis, and financial oversight of the property portfolio.

Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

• Efficiently close monthly ledgers and prepare detailed management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and working capital analyses.

• Maintain and develop comprehensive cost accounting systems for all business activities, ensuring accuracy and relevance to support ongoing operations.
