Business Support Officer – Adoption Central EnglandIf you are looking to join a dynamic team, have good multi-tasking skills and are looking for a challenging role this could be the job for you!
Responsibilities:
- Work in a varied and interesting environment, being highly organised with a positive and flexible approach to workloads and meeting tight deadlines.
- Work well as part of a team, prioritise own workload, work independently and exercise confidentiality at all times.
- Provide high level keyboard skills and be competent in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel) and Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain excellent and accurate literacy, numeracy and administrative skills and analyse information to solve general queries.
- Conduct telephone contact dealing with customers, social workers and other local authority staff, servicing their requests or incident management.
- Provide excellent verbal and written communication, documenting outcomes and resolutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in administrative or business support in a similar environment.
- Strong organisational and time‑management ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Adherence to confidentiality and data protection requirements.
