Service Coordinator
Redditch
- Office based full time
£27,000 – £28,000 per annum
We are looking for an organised and proactive Service Controller to join our busy service team in Redditch. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you will play a key part in coordinating engineers, managing service jobs, and ensuring excellent customer service from first call to job completion.

Service Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls, handle queries, and log breakdowns accurately.
Deliver excellent customer service and manage client expectations effectively.
Update and action customer-specific online portals where required.
Schedule jobs onto engineer planners and manage workloads efficiently.
Raise order numbers and issue jobs to subcontractors when necessary.
Review and process completed job reports on the company’s bespoke system.
Prepare and issue quotes for chargeable work, following up until approval or cancellation.
Order parts and components where engineer attendance is not required.
Monitor the planner board to ensure all jobs are allocated and completed correctly.
Request and manage subcontractor paperwork where applicable.
Support the wider service team with any other reasonable duties as required.
The successful Service Coordinator will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a service coordination, scheduling, or administrative role.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
Able to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
Good IT skills and experience using scheduling or job management systems.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
