Engineering / Rail Infrastructure The Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a major engineering and rail infrastructure project based in Warwick. This is an excellent opportunity to support a high-profile programme by ensuring project data is accurately captured, maintained, and managed across multiple systems. This is a full-time contract position operating inside IR35, with attendance required five days per week at the Warwick office.
Key Responsibilities Accurately input, update, and maintain project data across internal databases and document management systems. Verify the accuracy and completeness of information before processing. Manage and organise project documentation in accordance with company procedures. Support engineering, commercial, and project teams by maintaining accurate records. Process large volumes of data while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Identify and resolve data discrepancies, escalating issues where appropriate.
Produce reports and spreadsheets to support project tracking and administration. Ensure documentation complies with project quality standards and data governance requirements. Assist with general administrative tasks as required by the project team. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a data entry, administration, or document control role. Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience using document management systems or databases is advantageous. Ability to manage confidential information appropriately. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative project environment. Desirable Previous experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, or rail projects. Familiarity with project documentation and quality processes. Experience working within a fast-paced project environment.
